The Sakchi High School (SHS) was established in 1947, with the aim to educate all, irrespective of the class of society they belong. Caste and other differentiators, in the society. The main motto of the school is “Learn Today, Lead Tomorrow". The school has been emphasising on the importance of knowledge in a human being, which not only helps a person grow mentally but also helps an individual to become a splendid human being for the country. The school, in 1947, initially begun with Bengali being the key medium for educating its students.

Ever since then, the school has been producing fine graduates who have been shining in many corners of the world in today’s date. Now with the induction of Hindi medium. Within the school premises, we believe to continue to nurture the future of the country in the similar way.

It has been often observed that with the modernisation the state is going through, the native and regional cultures and languages such as Bengali are somewhat getting diminished. We look forward to having support from personals like you to keep alive the spark of our regional language and emphasise on its importance and variance.

At last, I would like to thank everyone associated with SHS, in the past and the present, for their continuing support and efforts to help keep the school grow more than what it has been till date.
